Located right here in Harlingen at the Marine Military Academy, the Iwo Jima Memorial is home to the original full-sized working model of the iconic Iwo Jima monument โ€” a 32-foot bronze sculpture created by Dr. Felix W. de Weldon and dedicated in 1982.
